A cold rain continues for the state, with heavy rain for much of the Litchfield hills this evening. This continues tonight, but slowly tapers off. Temperatures tonight will drop to the mid-30s, but because they will stay above freezing, slick spots aren't expected.
More scattered rain and snow showers expected tomorrow, but not as heavy as today, with highs in the low-40s. Winds calm down as well.
