HARTFORD--On this week's Hidden History, photojournalist Mike Townsend took a look at Connecticut's history being on the cutting edge of technology.

You may not know this, but a long time ago, before you just had to reach in your pocket to make a call, you needed a quarter to phone someone. And those pay phones that populated every corner originated right here in Hartford.
