PLYMOUTH–A man from the Terryville section of Plymouth was arrested on Thursday on charges of risk of injury to a minor, sexual assault in the first degree and sexual assault in the second degree.
John Wunsch, 77, was served an arrest warrant at Bristol Superior Court–he was due to appear tomorrow for a separate incident that included a charge of risk of injury to a minor, but that date was moved up to today. That incident occurred in July, while the new incident occurred in September.
According to the Bristol District Court’s criminal clerk’s office, the new charges more specifically include sex with a victim under age 13, illegal sexual contact with victim under age 16, and sexual assault in the second degree. No other information was available because the case file is sealed.
Wunsch was released on a $250,000 bond that he posted Thursday afternoon. He will next appear in court on Dec. 23.
