Former E.O. Smith coach arrested on additional charges
MANSFIELD- A former E.O. Smith soccer coach arrested for sexual assault in October was arrested again this weekend while out on bond.
Geoffrey Gillette, 22, was arrested just before 9:00 p.m on Friday night at the Mansfield Drive-In theater. Gillette was charged with two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault.
This comes after he was arrested on the exact same charges on October 28th when he was accused of having sexual relationships with three students at E.O. Smith high school where he was an “instructional assistant” and assistant football coach.
Gillette posted a fifty thousand dollar bond after the first arrest and was awaiting his next court appearance. He now faces a total of three counts of risk of injury to a child and six counts of sexual assault.
Gillette posted another fifty thousand dollar bond after his latest arrest and is due in court December 23rd.
