Sunday Forecast: another pleasant day

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

There are very little changes between Saturday and Sunday's weather, so you can chalk this weekend up as a nice one. Temperatures today will top out around 40 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Monday will be a dry day with mostly sunny skies and temperatures 35-40 degrees. Our next period of unsettled weather will affect our area late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning with mostly rain showers as a cold front and low pressure swings through New England.  There could be a few scattered rain and or snow showers late Wednesday into Thursday, however most of the shower activity should stay to our north.

Meanwhile, colder air moves backs into the region late in the week and into next weekend with temperatures cooling to seasonable levels for this time of year.
