Second food delivery man robbed in Hamden in less than a week

HAMDEN – Police said another food delivery man was robbed Sunday, the second in less than a week.

Police said on December 14th  a delivery man for China Wok was making a delivery to an address on Duane Road. When he go there, he was met by a hispanic male 5’6″ tall, wearing a brown coat according to police. A second man, who police said was 5’11” and wearing a mask, pointed a handgun at the delivery man. The second individual demanded his belongings. The two subsequently fled on foot towards Wilbert Street with money and the food order.

Hamden Police searched the area with a K-9 but did not turn up any clues.

On December 9, a delivery man was beaten and robbed near the Quinnipiac campus after delivering food to a dorm.
