Former Connecticut baseball player turned artist branches out

Kevin Rival traded his baseball mitt in for a paintbrush, turning his childhood hobby into a lucrative business.  Having played Division 1 baseball at Central Connecticut State University and then in the minors for several different teams, Kevin is well versed in the sports world.

For the most part, his paintings have been sports related: football, baseball, and even athletes like Derek Jeter.  However, in recent times, Kevin has begun to branch out a bit, and is painting to tell a story.  His recent paintings include a heart-wrenching depiction of a mother and wife, just after her husband has gone overseas to serve in the war.
