MIDDLETOWN – The Middletown Police department announced Tuesday they lost one of their own.
They posted on their facebook page about Rika. The recently retired Narcotics K-9 passed away on Saturday.
The post said “Rika was a sweet girl that was always ready to work. We should all love our jobs as much as she did.”
Police say Rika was always quick to raid the Animal Control office for treats and toys and that she knew where the good stuff was.
