TORRINGTON- A man has died after he was hit by a vehicle on Friday night.
Police responded to the area of 865 Migeon Avenue around 6:30 p.m on a report of a motor vehicle hitting a pedestrian.
Authorities responding found 51-year old David Perkins lying unresponsive on the side of roadway. Emergency crews attempted to stabilize Perkins at the scene, he was transported to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital where he later died.
Police say a 2007 Honda Accord was also found at the scene, police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
