HARTFORD- Police have identified the two men shot Saturday morning.
Police say two men were shot in a car near Colt Park around 5:30 a.m. Hiram Martinez, 23 of Hartford has died as a result of his injuries, police said. Detectives say the other victim, Dedrick Jimenez, 24, sustained a gunshot wound in the shoulder and is expected to be OK.
Hartford detectives say this is the city's 18th homicide this year.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the fatal shooting.
