PLAINFIELD — Weeks after a vicious dog attack in Plainfield, a family is now appealing the order that their dogs be euthanized.

The attack at the end of November left a visiting nurse in critical condition.

There were five Rottweilers and one Labrador in the home, but only some of the dogs were involved in the attack.

Earlier this month, Plainfield animal control ordered those dogs be put down and they’ve been waiting ever since.

The case will be heard by the Commission of Agriculture.
