Man grazed by bullet while driving on Route 8

SEYMOUR- Police are investigating a shooting that happened in Route 8 near Shelton.

 A man called police around 1 a.m. and said someone in a Buick fired multiple shots at his car.
Five men were in the victim’s car near exit 22.
Seymour Police found and stopped the cars.
One victim was grazed by a bullet. He was treated and released from Bridgeport Hospital.
Various police departments, state police, and a K-9 team helped in the investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
No arrests have been made at this time, police said.
The State Police Detectives are continuing this investigation and are asking anyone who has any information regarding this incident to contact State Police at 203 3934200.  All calls will be kept confidential.
