SOUTHINGTON –A woman is under arrest after she drove her car into the living room of a home to speak to her estranged husband, who had a protective order against her, Southington police said.
Around 9 p.m. Tuesday night, a man called Southington police saying his estranged wife, Jennifer Luisi, 31, was banging on his door, “attempting to speak with” him, police said.
Luisi got back in her car, and drove it into the front door of the home. The car stopped in the living room, police said.
The couple has a “no contact” protective order between them, police said.
Police also suspected she had been drinking alcohol, they said.
Luisi was charged with Criminal Violation of a Protective Order, Reckless Endangerment, Criminal Mischief, Breach of Peace, and DUI.
Luisi was processed and held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond. She appeared in court on Wednesday, but her case was continued until Jan. 21, 2015.
