Car drove into a house after multi-car accident in Southington

SOUTHINGTON–Police are investigating an accident involving a car that drove into a house.

The incident, which involved three total cars, occurred near Annelise Avenue and Loper Street. That intersection is currently closed, but the scene is expected to clear by 7:30 p.m. Only one car went into the home.

A gas line was ruptured, but it has since been turned off. However, the neighboring home has been evacuated.

One minor injury was reported.
