STAMFORD–Police are asking for help after a Subway employee was attacked during a robbery on Sunday night.

At 9:05 p.m. three men gathered in front of the Subway restaurant located at 1126 East Main St. After a few seconds one of the men runs into the shop, followed by another who walks in slower. A third suspect remained outside as a lookout.

As the first man runs into the restaurant, he jumps over the divider to the back where food is prepared, and he instantly attacks the employee. There does not appear to have been any provocation, though there is no sound on the video.

The attack suspect repeatedly hit and punched the victim for about 15 seconds before running towards the register. He was unable to access the register, so all three suspects ran east on East Main Street.

The employee was taken to the hospital to be treated for a concussion and several lacerations.

If you recognize any of the suspects or have any information on the incident, please call 203-977-4417.
