Wintry precipitation will fall at times during the morning, leading to a dicey morning commute for some of us. Expect freezing rain, sleet, and a bit of snow to fall during the morning, which is why a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for the entire state of Connecticut. During the day Monday, lingering pockets of icy precipitation will linger, with rain for most of the state. High temperatures will be in the mid 30s.
After it clears out on Monday evening, colder weather fills in for Tuesday and beyond. Expect 20s Tuesday and Wednesday, and then we may be up around 30 by Thursday and Friday. A storm will come close for the end of the week, but at this point it looks like a miss for Connecticut.
