Mohegan Sun has been gearing up for the arrival of last season’s Bachelorette stars, Andi Dorfman and her fiance, Josh Murray, who were scheduled to appear at an exclusive Reality Check featuring a live Q&A and signing on Friday, January 16.
The couple was featured on the live premiere of this season’s The Bachelor, which aired on Monday, January 5, appearing to be quite happy, cozy, and united. Two days later, they were over.
“After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it’s best for both of us to go our separate ways,” read a statement released on January 7. “We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what’s best for both of us individually.”
Controversial rumors have since circulated regarding Murray’s interest in making a play for the next season of The Bachelor, which, clearly, he cannot do with a fiance, indicating a potential reason for the break-up. However, HollywoodLife reported that a source close to the couple said they got into a big fight in LA after The Bachelor premiere.
“Andi felt like Josh wasn’t showing her enough attention [at the after party] and things just blew up at the premiere,” the source told them. “To top it off, Andi was annoyed that Josh was getting so much attention from other girls.”
Regardless of what it was, we hope you didn’t change any important plans to attend Andi and Josh’s appearance on Mohegan Sun’s Reality Check; it doesn’t look like these ex-love birds will be attending any events together in the near future.
