Ernie is a Rat Terrier Mix who is about 10 months old. He's happy, playful, fun, and full of energy and very people oriented. He just can’t get enough attention.
Ernie is mouthy, so he's not a good candidate for toddlers, but would be great for first-timers or empty-nesters who want to make a dog central to their lives. He will need basic training, and adopters should be prepared to take him to classes.
Training classes are really good, even if you are experienced with dogs; keeps you on your toes, they force you to do your “homework;” and puts the dog in a social setting with other dogs.
