Unfortunately, Nick’s girlfriend, Ariana Gavrilis, also auditioned but didn’t get a golden ticket. The supportive lady stood by though to cheer on her man.

HARTFORD -- Two young men from Connecticut will appear on Thursday night's episode of American Idol.
UConn Student Jack Dunn and West Haven native Nick Fradiani both auditioned for the show's 14th season in New York.
