ELLINGTON- Firefighters responded to a home at 67 Webster road on a report of a garage fire on Saturday afternoon.
According to Crystal Lake Fire Chief Chuck Pippin, the fire was contained to the garage and the home sustained minor smoke and heat damage. Three people were home at the time of the fire, no injuries were reported.
Chief Pippin went on to say the fire was knocked down ten to fifteen minutes after crews arrived on scene.
Fire crews from Ellington, Tolland and Somers fire departments also assisted at the scene.
