SOUTHINGTON--Perhaps those happiest about the lifting of the travel ban after the snow storm were truckers.

Rows of 18-wheelers were lined up at the rest area in Southington.

Some truckers waited out the storm Monday night, while others wound up pulling into the rest stop Tuesday after some stern orders by state police.

"The police were hitting me with their spotlights saying pull off," trucker Ken Clark said.

Billy Van Horn was not taking any chances. "$94 ticket if you're caught out there with nobody on the roads."

Despite the travel ban, which electronic billboards prominently reminded drivers of, you could see many semi's trucking through Connecticut.

There were also plenty of cars ignoring the ban.
