HARTFORD – Warner Bros. Television confirmed today that Milo Ventimiglia, known for his portrayal of Peter Petrelli on Heroes, will join Gotham as a serial killer known as the Ogre.
For those familiar with villains in the DC canon, this character is not the same Ogre that exists in that universe. In FOX’s Gotham, the Ogre is Jason Lemmon, a handsome and wealthy predator who abducts women in search of his perfect mate, and appears for the first time in the 19th episode of the series.
His victims meet with grim fates after they fail to meet his exacting standards in a series of “tests.”
Ventimiglia’s character will have a multi-episode arc on the series, and will serve to further explore Det. James Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie) psyche.
