FALL RIVER, Mass. — Testimony continued Wednesday in the Aaron Hernandez trial. The former Patriot player is accused of murdering his fiancee’s sister’s boyfriend, Odin Lloyd.

The fiancee’s sister was back on the stand for a third time today when things get underway. Shaneah Jenkins was emotional during her testimony as she was asked about her sister and what she was doing after they learned Odin Lloyd was killed.

The prosecution alleges Hernandez’s fiancee helped destroy evidence in the case. It’s not known if she has been granted immunity.

Lloyd’s mother Ursala Ward took the stand after Shaneah. She identified her son Odin in a morgue photo. Next up, was Capt. Joseph Direnzo of the North Attleboro Police Department.

Capt. Direnzo said he checked for a pulse on Lloyd. He is expected to take the stand again on Thursday.

Judge Garsh also told the jury to be prepared for a field trip on Friday. She said they would be getting on a bus to visit certain areas pertaining to the case.

On Tuesday, the judge discharged a female juror. The juror had been talking about the case extensively before the trial, knew all the ins’ and outs of the Hernandez story and had even said she wanted to be on the jury. She also lied about how many Patriots games she attended – and said she thought the prosecution would have a hard case to prove with no murder weapon. There are now 17 jurors remaining.
