CROMWELL – A two-year-old yellow lab which had been the subject of an ongoing rescue mission for a month is safe and sound at Cromwell Middletown Animal Control.
A group called Dog Gone Recover Volunteers rode through neighborhoods trying track down the dog for a month. Ann Halibozek, of Cromwell, said in an email, the group was “setting up traps, putting up signs everywhere throughout Cromwell. After days of snowstorms and frigid cold, random sightings, he was finally caught and is now safe and warm.”
Animal control estimated that the dog is a two-year-old male. He’s in good condition and is at an average weight. They are trying to find the owners, but the dog did not have any tags and was not chipped. They are calling the dog Brady.
The dog had been wandering around the Middletown and Cromwell area for about a month.
