WEST HARTFORD -Police arrested a man who they say kicked his girlfriend’s children out of a car, stole her phone and then drove off to buy marijuana.
Police said Kirk Wilson was waiting for his girlfriend to finish a job interview and became impatient because she was taking too long and he wanted to buy marijuana.
They said he had her two children, ages 12 and 7, exit the woman’s vehicle in 30 degree temperatures. He took her car and phone as well. Police said he drove to Holcomb Street in Hartford. Police arrested him and said he had 1 cent with him when arrested and it was determined he was going to trade the phone for the drugs.
