Corrections employee arrested for sexual misconduct

NIANTIC — State Police have arrested an employee at the York Women’s Correctional Facility.

Jeff Bromley, 47, of Niantic, turned himself into State Police on Thursday after he was issued an arrest warrant.

The arrest comes after a three-month investigation into sexual misconduct allegations. State Police worked with the Department of Correction Intelligence Unit during the investigation.

Bromley is charged with sexual assault. He was released on $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 19th.
