Winter Storm Warning for northern Connecticut, Winter Storm Watch for southern Connecticut late tonight through Monday evening for a prolonged period of snow throughout Connecticut
Get ready for more snow Sunday into early next week. Periods of snow will continue tonight into early Sunday with a coating to an inch or so. With a front stalling out, snow will continue to fall during the day on Sunday and continue Sunday night, Monday through early Tuesday. It’s not a major snow, but persistent snow rates may add up to significant snow accumulations for parts of Connecticut with as much as 6”-12” of snow for northern Ct, with lesser amounts across the I-95 corridor by the time it ends early Tuesday. If the system tracks further north than less snow for Connecticut but more snow across Central and Northern New England.
