STORRS – The makers of Husky HerOes cereal are planning on donating 900 boxes of to local food banks.
Auriemma won his 900th game last Tuesday. The cereal, introduced in November, will be donated to food banks in the Storrs area.
Describes as honey nut toasted, the box has UConn Women’s Basketball Coach Geno Auriemma on one side and UConn Men’s Basketball Coach Kevin Ollie on the other.
