STORRS – The number two UConn Huskies took on number one South Carolina in tonight’s match up. This was the 20th time the women have played in a number one versus number two match-up in an Associated Press Top 25 match-up, bringing their ranking to 16-4.
It was back and forth a little there, until Mariah Jeffereson ignited a 21-2 run to give the Huskies an 87-62 win over South Carolina.
