WEST HARTFORD- Firefighters from stations all around West Hartford spent a good part of their Tuesday digging out fire hydrants buried in snow.

There are roughly 1500 hydrants throughout the the town, many of the them covered by tall snow banks. Some of these snow piles measure over four feet tall.

The past three big snow storms have had firefighters digging out these hydrants for almost a month now.

It doesn’t look like firefighters will  be getting a break soon either with another  storm expected on Thursday.
