WATERBURY — Waterbury’s Department of Public Works (DPW) has a long day planned for Wednesday. Crews will be moving snow from the city to its municipal stadium lot. So much snow has piled up that they are running out of places to put it.
DPW crews started at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday on the Baldwin Street Bridge. The bridge crosses over I-84 and has limited space in the shoulders and sidewalks because of the mounds of snow. That is a similar story across the Brass City, snow limiting parking and accessibility.
