HEBRON – An East Hartford man was killed in a crash that closed a section of Route 66 Tuesday morning.
Christopher Passera, 22 of East Hartford, died from injuries sustained when the car he was driving was struck by a truck on Route 66.
State police said Esad Kelecja of Wethersfield was driving west on Main Street, Route 66, when Passera’s car, driving south on Wall Street entered the intersection at the same time. Passera was not wearing his seat belt according to police.
Sarah Guay, a passenger in Passara’s car sustained injuries. and taken to Windham Hospital.
