WALLINGFORD – A six month investigation resulted in the arrest of a Meriden man who police said recruited others to falsely obtain prescription drugs and later he would sell them.
Ramphis Pacheco, 34 of Meriden, was charged with 15 counts each of sale of narcotics, forgery and one count of insurance fraud. Pacheco was arrested on February 11th. He was released after posting a $100,000 bond.
Police estimated that Pacheco’s operation procured almost 6,200 pills with an estimated street value $185,400.
