61 Teresa Road Fire

MANCHESTER – One person was injured in a fire Friday morning.

Fire officials said the home at 61 Teresa Rd. was seriously damaged.  Joseph Ventura, 25, was treated for smoke inhalation.

Officials said Ventura heard an explosion in the garage and when he investigated, he saw heavy smoke. Neighbors helped Ventura out of the house.

Two cats were rescued.

Officials said the fire started in the garage around 9 a.m.

The fire was not considered to be suspicious.
