NEW YORK (PIX11) – If you think you are feeling not yourself this winter, it turns out that you are far from alone.

“It’s exhausting, it’s too tiring,” said Jonathan Ross of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

“It has to do with light, and it has to do with the fact that when we don’t get a lot of light and it’s cloudy, we don’t get as much Vitamin D,” said Psychologist Dr. Harris Stratyner.

We visited Hammacher Schlemmer in Midtown where the winter has sent sales up on certain items said General Manager Keith Elder.

“Everyone is kind of seeking some relief from the brutal, the winds, the aches, the pains, and everything,” said Elder.

As for this winter, there may be attempts to forget about it, but looking outside we know it is still here.

We can look ahead to Daylight Savings Time in a few days on March 8th.
