HARTFORD – A car accident on Albany Ave. at Williams St. has left a male pedestrian dead.
The accident occurred a little before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, and the victim was transported to St. Francis hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the 2001 Chevy Blazer, who appeared intoxicated according to police, is in custody and the investigation is on-going.
Police have identified the victim as Frank Morales, 38, of Hartford. Police have not yet identified the driver.
Albany Ave. was blocked off between Center St. and Edwards St but has since reopened.
