LEDYARD – The Fire Department responded to a partial roof collapse at 89 Meeting House Lane around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 8.
There were no reported injuries and the scene is under investigation, however a respondent said that it appears as though the sunroom collapse was due to a build-up of snow and ice.
With the current weather situation, homeowners are encouraged to continually check their roofs for ice dam build-ups and snow removal needs.
