UNCASVILLE–Connecticut women dominated on the courts on Monday as March Madness sets in.

First the Quinnipiac University women’s basketball team defeated Marist College at the Times Union Center in Albany. The final score was 72-61, and the win let the Bobcats finally end the Red Foxes reign in the MAAC. Marist’s team had won the last nine MAAC titles. The win means that the Bobcats will head to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years.
