HARTFORD – During the mid season shift this March, many FOX shows are having their finales, premieres, going on pause, coming off of a pause, or having special, two-hour episodes. Due to this, timings of your favorite shows maybe switching around for the next few weeks.
For example: Bones will be returning, Empire, will be ending, Gotham is on hiatus,The Mindy Project will be ending, Weird Loners will be premiering, New Girl will be returning, American Idol will be starting a single night schedule, and Glee is having its series finale.
Scroll through the list of FOX shows, in alphabetical order, to make sure you don’t accidentally miss your show, or schedule your life around a show that won’t be playing that particular night for the next two weeks!
American Idol
Wednesday, March 18: OFF
Thursday, March 19: “Top 10 Perform” 8 – 10 p.m.
Wednesday, March 25: “Top 9 Perform” 8 – 10 p.m.
Thursday, March 26: OFF
American Idol will be continuing after these two weeks on just Wednesday nights from 8 -10 p.m.
Backstrom
Thursday, March 19: OFF
Thursday, March 26: “Give ‘Til It Hurts” 9 p.m.
Backstrom was booted for the two hour American Idol episode, but will continue its regular 9 p.m. Thursday time slot.
Bones
Thursday, March 19: OFF
Thursday, March 26: “The Psychic in the Soup” 8 p.m.
Coming off it’s mid season hiatus, Bones will return all new in its 8 p.m. Thursday time slot.
Empire
Wednesday, March 18: “Die But Once; Who I Am” Finale 8 – 10 p.m.
Wednesday, March 25: OFF
Empire will not return until Fall 2015 with its second season, specific date TBD.
The Following
Monday, March 23: “Home: A Hostile Witness” Back-to-back all new episodes 8-10 p.m.
Monday, March 30: “Reunion” 9 p.m.
The Following will then be continuing in its regular time slot, Monday nights at 9 p.m.
Glee
Friday, March 20: “2009; Dreams Come True” Series Finale 8 – 10 p.m.
Glee completes its series on 3/20, and starting Friday, March 27, its time slot will feature a movie special from 8 – 10 p.m.
Gotham
Monday, March 23: OFF
Monday, March 30: Rerun 8 p.m.
Gotham will have reruns Monday nights at 8 p.m. until Monday, April 13, when its mid season hiatus will end and it will return all new.
Hell’s Kitchen
Hell’s Kitchen will maintain its regular 8 p.m. Tuesday time slot throughout the transition period.
The Mindy Project
Tuesday, March 24: “Best Man” Finale 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 31: OFF
The Mindy Project will be replaced following its 3/24 finale with the brand new FOX sitcom, Weird Loners.
New Girl
New Girl will continue reruns in its 9 p.m. Tuesday time slot, until it returns, all new on Tuesday, March 31.
