HARTFORD – FOX’s new sitcom, The Last Man on Earth surpassed even Family Guy in viewers last Sunday night. For those of you who haven’t been keeping up, Phil Miller (Will Forte), while still the last man on Earth, is no longer the last human on Earth.
In the back-to-back premiere episodes, Miller was joined by Carol Pilbasian (Kristen Schaal), who decided that they ought to get married in order to repopulate the Earth, despite Miller’s dislike of her.
In last Sunday’s episode, the now-married couple were joined by Melissa (January Jones), a significantly hotter, additional woman on Earth. Phil is frustrated to find the Melissa had arrived in Tucson way before Carol, but hadn’t been able to find him… and so Phil married Carol. Whoops.
The episode ends with the women deciding that the need to repopulate the Earth far outweighs their own preferences, and tell Phil they will both sleep with him.
… But then another car drives up.
