Pedestrian struck by car in serious accident in Manchester

MANCHESTER–Police are describing an accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon as “serious.”

The crash occurred at the intersection of Buckland Hills Drive and Pleasant Valley Road just after 4 p.m.

The victim, a 20-year-old woman from Hartford, was taken to the hospital with injuries that weren’t life-threatening.

The car was a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, and the driver remained at the scnee.
