WEST HARTFORD–It’s official!
The two high schools in West Hartford will be allowed to keep their team names, but will have to change their mascot logos.
Last week the Board of Education voted to allow the Conard Chieftains and Hall Warriors to keep those titles, but all imagery and references to Native Americans had to be eliminated.
The new logos and mascots will be modified by June.
