Connecticut State Police said the victim is Nicole Kummer, 28, of Hartford. Her Facebook page says she went to Wethersfield High School and was currently working as a nurse and living in New Britain.
At 5:05 p.m. on March 25, Troopers responded to a report of an “untimely death” at Cato Corner Road and Pine Street in Colchester.
Police had reached out to the public asking for help identifying her. Kummer’s most recognizable features are her tattoos on her arms that say “Jayden” and “Nicole.”
The medical examiners office says her cause of death was stab wounds.
State Police are asking potential witnesses to contact investigators at 860-896-3230.
