CLINTON- One person has been hospitalized after a house fire on Cedar Road Sunday afternoon.
Fire crews responded to a reported house fire at 43 Cedar Road around 1:20 pm. According to the department, fire crews were able to extinguish the fire in the lower level of the home. Firefighters from Old Saybrook and Westbrook provided mutual aid.
One occupant was transported by ambulance to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
The Clinton Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
