Our own Fox Connecticut’s Crystal Hall served as co-emcee alongside Ryan Matthews with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Receiving awards were: Carrie Roulhac of Bloomfield (Foster Grandparent of the Year Award); Pete Eason of Waterbury (Connecticut’s Big Brother of the Year Award); Karen Perham-Lippman of Vernon (2015 Connecticut Big Sister of the Year Award); Dwight Washington of Bloomfield (John M. Clapp Outstanding Big Brother of the Year Award) and Evelyn Rojas of Hartford. Evelyn is the recipient of the 2015 Victoria L. Soto Memorial Award. She earned the recognition for the amazing work she’s accomplished as a mentor in Nutmeg’s community-based program.
