Dr. Seuss book getting Netflix adaptation

One of your favorite books will be making its debut on screens sometime soon.

It was announced on Wednesday that Ellen DeGeneres is developing a television series based on Dr. Seuss’ “Green Eggs and Ham.” The 13-episode season is going to air on Netflix in 2018.

DeGeneres will executive produce the project along with Jared Stern, Jeef Kleeman, Mike Karz and David Dobkin. Stern will write the scripts.

The show will go into production in May.
