BROOKLYN, Conn.–On December 3, 2014 the Connecticut State Police’s Eastern District Major Crime Squad responded to a report of child abuse in the town of Brooklyn.

A 3-month-old was taken to Backus Hospital Emergency Center, and it was determined that the infant had been injured. At that point the infant was taken to Connecticut Children’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment. The infant is now safe.
