Man injured in Manchester road rage incident, police looking for suspect

MANCHESTER – A man was struck by a car in a road rage incident Thursday morning.

The incident happened near the exit 60  entrance to I-84 West around 7:40 a.m.  next to Wickham Park and the East Hartford town line.

Police said the incident started as a road rage situation and the suspect threw an object at the victim’s vehicle. Police said when the victim got out to look at the damage to his car, the suspect then struck the victim with his car before fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital for treatment according to police.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as a small 2 door silver Honda.
