SOUTH WINDSOR–Main Street has been shut down after a sewer line breach.
Around 3:30 p.m. South Windsor Police shut the road down between Oxbow Lane and Sullivan Avenue to immediately repair the sewer line.
Police initially said the road may remain closed overnight to complete the repairs, but it has extended those expectations to as long as a week because the sewer main was breached.
The road was previously closed for the same stretch on May 1 due to a large sinkhole that appeared and needed to be repaired.
