BRIDGEPORT — A 26-year-old Bridgeport man has been charged with raping his girlfriend’s 13-year-old daughter.

Police say Angel Torres was arrested Tuesday and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

The Connecticut Post reports police began investigating Torres in February when her mother complained to officials at the girl’s school about a hickey on her neck.

The girl told investigators that she and Torres had sexual relations on at least five occasions.

Torres is being held in lieu of a $2 million bond and could not be reached Thursday for comment. He is due back in court on May 26.
